It’s such an exhilarating ride when you come across an author you haven’t even heard of that is knocking it clean out of the park. The writing, the storytelling, clever twists and turns, and an explosive ending. Blog Tour: A Savage Generation by David Tallerman
Thanks to Anne @ Random Things Blog Tours and the author for my copy of the book and my place on the blog tour. The book world is rife with Post-Apocalyptic novels of zombies, disease and despair. A Savage Generation cracks that mould and gives us something alarmingly real. A situation we can envision becoming reality in glorious HD. In a world where anything is possible, the idea that new strains of illness and disease can be borne into chaos and rapidly end the existence that we have come to know and rely on. You shouldn’t be scared of monsters under your bed, this is the real horror story. Real…

Review: Other Words For Smoke by Sarah Maria Griffin
A Beautiful story with such poetic flow. A strong and prominent storyteller. A story that seeps magic, betrayal and wonder straight from the heart of the pages. The author uses the English language like an artist uses a muse. It’s well-crafted and unique. The synopsis jumped out from the screen at me. I just adore anything magic. Talking cats, magical creatures behind wallpaper and a mysterious room with neon lights. I loved everything this book stood for. The cover is beautiful, and it just screamed for you to read it. The horror side of the story really took me by surprise, and on the most part it worked very well. …

The Puppet Show (Washington Poe #1) by M.W. Craven
Absolutely mind- blowing. This book can only be described as feeling like your head is spinning clean off your head. Craven is for sure one to watch. The synopsis is what first grabbed my attention. When I’m truly in the mood for a crime novel, I have a list of things that I need to have in the storyline. Serial Killers ✔️ a cantankerous detective ✔️ an absolutely amazing double-act ✔️ and a creepy as hell series of murders to solve – ✔️ oh hell yes. Craven was on to a winner with that formula for sure! Trust me, this is going to be one book you aren’t going to want…

Review: Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma
Wow wow wow I added this to my TBR about five or six years ago and I have just finally got around to reading it…why did I wait so long? This book is one of the few to have extracted such an emotive and raw reaction from me as a result of its beautiful prose. Its outstanding in a complex and devastatingly crushing way. In all honesty it made me grateful for the quiet, uneventful childhood that I experienced. Some children aren’t so lucky. Some children have to fight, have to hide, have just get through each damn day never knowing if tomorrow is going to be the day where…

Ultimate Blog Tour: Different Time By Micheal. K. Hill
Thanks to Dave @ The Write Reads for my spot on The Ultimate Blog Tour for Different Time by Micheal Hill. Thanks for a copy of the book. My thoughts are all my own. This book is why I hail the Indie writers. I’ve reviewed and rated a couple of 5 star reads this year, but this is topping the scale. It takes all the biscuits, all the stars, it takes the motherfucking yard stick. This story is so blinking different and unique it made my soul happy and broken all at the same time. It’s no lie that I’m a bit of a masochist when it comes to reading…
