One Good Lie by Jane Isaac | Blog Tour Review
When this book landed on my kindle I just had that deep instinctual knowledge that this was going to be my kind of book. The relationship between siblings is a deep and complicated one. We have this passed down expectation that we should be close with them but don’t look away too quickly because sibling rivalry will soon be skipping down the corridors of the mind. The blurb had me searching for clues, is there something hidden in plain sight? Is a shadow creeping at the very edge of your vision? The Nurse by J.A. Corrigan | Blog Tour Review
J.A. Corrigan is just one of those authors that just command your attention. The Nurse is a testament to her skill. Immediately upon putting it down I knew it had a compulsive energy to it. Think Nurse Ratchet vs Silence of the Lambs. Her characterisation is a crescendo to the senses. The validity, the moral dilemmas and the utter humanness leaves you in awe with the realism. My introduction to this author’s work has left me salivating for more and I can’t wait to try more of her delights. The Nurse is a book that I fell for because of the blurb! The cover stopped me in my tracks, but…

It had me intrigued especially as the narrative leads you to believe that the person being put into a grave is who is deeply loved. What is the story behind it? It’s a great opener and I couldn’t wait to dive in. I’ve been mulling over just how…

All The Little Things by Sarah Lawton | Blog Tour Review
All The Little Things is just my kind of read…messed up, screwed up and slowly, slowly injecting the creeping dread into my brain until it develops into an itch I just can’t reach. When you have read as much crime fiction as I have over the last few years it really takes something to kick you on the arse, to make you pay attention. All The Little Things did just that. It had the added element, a calling card left in a deserted room. It left clues for me to discover, to strip layer after layer until I had been exposed to its dark secrets. The writing style, the narrative,…
