The Court Of Miracles by Kester Grant | Review
Thanks to Netgalley and Harper Voyager for an ARC of The Court Of Miracles. A retelling you say? A mash-up between The Jungle Book and Les Misérables? That was an instant moment of hell yes, I am reading that! The Court Of Miracles is the first book in what is anticipated to be a three-book series and boy if the other two can deliver on what Book 1 has done then Kester Grant is on to a winner. Review: Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban
I Solemnly swear I am up to no good. Sirius Black is officially my favourite in the series. Anyone that can exist in Azkaban without having his soul dwindle into an empty pit deserves his happily ever after. Harry Potter is embroiled deeper and deeper into the dark workings of Voldemort. I really missed out on an awesome adventure because this thirty-two-year-old grown ass woman has loved the first book in the series. My dilemma is though, what can I add in this review that hundreds of wonderful readers haven’t already? “Call him Voldemort, Harry. Always use the proper name for things. Fear of a name…

ARC Review: Coral by Sara Ella
Thank you to the publisher for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own. Oh, how I wanted to enjoy this book. I had been saving this one for a while, waiting until the right mood took me, waiting until I was ready to fully immerse myself in the world of a very special retelling…essentially A Little Mermaid retelling. I love a retelling, but this just fell flat for me and I can’t tell you just how disappointed I am that this was the case. I was grateful that the author/publisher inserted a trigger warning at the front…
