It’s too bad you had a one-star read this month, but you had several five-star reads. My favorite January read was The House on Cold Hill by Peter James (Gothic haunted house story, way cool).

Whilst I was writing this post, I did think I had been very generous with 5 stars this month. I read some epic books though. The sound of Cold Hill sounds awesome, I will need to check it out!

So many books, I salute you! I loved the way you presented your round up. Also, that five star rating on Firefight made me want to sharee my shameful secret with you: I’ve never read a Brandon Sanderson 😱
coycaterpillar
Thank you! Truth be told, I’m very late to the Brandon Sanderson party! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Alice @ Love For Words
I’m *heart eyes* at the format of this post. Also… 16 BOOKS IN A MONTH? I aspire to your greatness.
I’ve mostly read 1920s-based books in January + I re-read Legend by Marie Lu.

ah thank you so much! I’m a bit of a geek for data and I’m much preferring this type of format for a round up post. Thanks for commenting.

I can’t wait to add up all my stats from this month. I’m only at 6 books but I hope to finish another book today if I can 🤞🏻
coycaterpillar
Well done on reading 6 books. This is probably my best month ever but then this month has felt like a year! Thanks for commenting.
A Court of Books and Love
That’s very true. January seemed to take a while but also went by really quick.

I’m so glad not to be the only one who thinks January is the longest month! Looks like a great list 🙂 I definitely need to get back to Harry Potter soon.

Thank you! I don’t know why it took me so long to pick it up!
